Background: One of the contributing factors to the poor health of many of our churches is that our men are not being discipled. George Barna's research shows that men are a key element in the health of a church. The evidence, however, is that only five percent of men are being intentionally discipled. The purpose of C&MA Men is to develop leaders who disciple men who build healthy churches.

Strategy: C&MA Men's Ministry will come alongside districts to encourage and strengthen men's ministry in local churches. We will work with three to five districts each year until we have served all agreeing districts. C&MA Men will provide Blueprint facilitators at the outset with a transition to district facilitation over the course of the year.

C&MA Men will, by invitation and with the agreement of the district coordinator, district superintendent and DEXCOM:

  • Provide a certified Blueprint facilitator for each seminar in the district.
  • Conduct three or four Blueprint seminars in the district to equip local church leadership teams in developing a framework for discipling men.
  • Provide follow-up materials to help local church leadership teams apply the principles of men's ministry in their specific environment.
  • Assist district coordinators in follow up after each Blueprint seminar.
  • Transition facilitation of Blueprint seminars to district men's ministry leaders.
When a district invites C&MA Men to assist in advancing its ministry to men, they commit to:

  • Select regions and locations for Blueprint seminars.
  • Encourage the district coordinator or a member of the district leadership team to participate in each Blueprint seminar.
  • Encourage pastor participation in Blueprint seminars.
  • Encourage the district leadership team to follow up with local leadership teams.
  • Assume responsibility for facilitating Blueprint seminars in the district.
Note: The cost of Blueprint training is $60.00 per participant.
