Summary of September and October 2008 Conference Calls:

• Funding: Income since July 2008 is $2500 toward a budget of $28,100. The ministry is operating tin the black.

• Equipping Leaders: We have prepared a C&MA addendum to the Blueprint Seminar detailing Short-term Missions, Alliance Construction Team and Equipping Leaders. Work is in progress on a coaching handbook as a resource for district leadership teams in encouraging local church leadership teams.

• Small Group Book: Work is proceeding on the publication of a Book on small groups. The intent is to have it available for General Council in May 2009.

• C&MA Men’s Brand: Two suggested brands have been sent to the National Office for formatting consistent with the Alliance Brand.

• 2009 National Leadership Forum: Tom Selfik will provide small group training and the coaching handbook will be presented. The Forum will be held February 6-8, 2009, at the Clarian Inn Atlanta Airport.
